Caroline Louchart, in art Caro Vicala, is an artist from Béthun. A potential artist since childhood, she began painting canvases at the age of 26. She exhibited her paintings from 2002, mainly in the north of France.

She also exhibited in the United States in 2011 (Philadelphia). She is currently exhibiting in the south of France (Carcassonne, Cannes).

She paints with watercolor, acrylic and felt-tip pen. His dreamlike sensitivity, his influences (Miro, Kandinsky, Hamish Kapoor), his travels shape his pictorial poetics. An abstract poetics, marked by an abundance of lively chromatism, sinuosity and a gentle cheerfulness. A poetics, however, open to some figurative elements and rectilinear figures. Caro Vicala’s paintings suggest strange and attractive worlds.
